Programs offered include arts and crafts, music, fitness, cultural arts, summer playgrounds, sports programs, summer sports camps and the summer concert series in Mindowaskin Park. Special events include ski trips, 5-mile road race, haunted house, holiday concert, coaches clinics and theater and other trips. Teen programs include a year-round teen center, the “Night Place,” teen swims and trips. The Recreation Commission provides tennis badges required for use of town tennis courts and issues permits for picnics and wedding photos on town facilities. It also makes reservations for persons wishing to use playing fields and the Community Room.
