CARING CONTACT

Caring Contact is an award-winning, volunteer-staffed caring and crisis hotline and listening community. They answered more than 21,000 calls in 2024 to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and to the Caring Contact warm line (908-232-2880).
Caring Contact trains volunteers twice a year, in the spring and fall.

The Westfield United Fund proudly helps fund this incredibly important and potentially life-saving service, which is available to all callers free-of-charge.

“The grant from the Westfield United Fund was critical to our success…the grant helped fund Listener training and support, bringing more Listeners on the lines and ensuring they were able to provide the highest quality support to our callers…

Funds from the Westfield United Fund helped make this possible.”
