1.) What is the Westfield United Fund?
We are a 501c(3) non-profit organization in located in Westfield, NJ. Our mission is to strengthen our community by helping neighbors in need. We do this by raising money for our partner agencies, which are independent 501c(3) non-profit organizations in Westfield and throughout Union County. Please note that our legal name is United Fund of Westfield, NJ.
2.) How long has the Westfield United Fund been here?
We began in 1938 as the United Campaign of Westfield Social Service Agencies. In 1975, we became affiliated with the United Way of America. In 2009, our affiliation with the United Way ended and we returned to our roots as the Westfield United Fund.
3.) Where are you located?
In 2023, we moved from the Westfield Train Station to 133 Prospect Street in Westfield.
4.) Who are your partner agencies?
Our partner agencies are non-profit organizations that provide a wide range of services in Westfield and across Union County, NJ in the areas of low-income support, mental health, senior care, and community needs. Click here for a list of our current partner agencies.

The vast majority of funding we receive is from generous people in our community.

Yes! There are many ways to donate to the Westfield United Fund. You can make a donation online or make an automatic recurring donation. We also happily accept gifts from donor-advised funds, bequests, stock donations, and employee matching gifts.
