WESTFIELD VOLUNTEER
RESCUE SQUAD
The Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad has provided free emergency medical services to Westfield since 1951. It is an all-volunteer organization, available
24 hours a day, 7 seven days a week, 365 days a year. Services are solely funded by grants and donations.
The Westfield United Fund provides significant funding for the Squad’s Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) Training and Simulation.
“(Training) participants will gain lifesaving skills applicable to real-world emergencies, enhancing Westfield’s overall disaster preparedness.
This program strengthens community resilience by ensuring that Westfield’s all-volunteer EMS force is trained to handle any crisis.”
