Social Worker at Crossroads School
“On Friday, October 11, 2024, we had our first Raingutter Regatta at Crossroads School. We had a beautiful sunny and warm day on which to sail our beautifully decorated boats. The students had an amazing time decorating their boats in preparation for the big race! The students and staff in each classroom group were very excited to get the race started. We utilized some mini fans and some help with the wind to race our boats.
We are very grateful to Victoria Moran, District Executive for the Boy Scouts, Andrew Nam, Field Director and Jennifer Volz, Senior Development Director and the Westfield United Fund for supporting our students here at Crossroads School. We are so happy to have this social opportunity for our students. It was a great day to practice our play skills, take turns, learn about competition and cheer our friends on. We are looking forward to more great events in the future.”
