Volunteer Opportunities at Cerebral Palsy League

 

Volunteers May Serve:

  • At the Come Play and Learn Early Learning Center
  • At the Jardine Academy, an approved private school for students with disabilities
  • At CPL Adult Services Program
  • At CPL Central Administration Offices

Program Assistants/Activity Leaders - Teach arts and crafts classes, lead a dance class, present programs on history, music, science, literature, culture or special hobbies, entertain through music, singing and dancing.

Wellness Program Volunteer Instructors - Yoga (chair or standing), Zumba, Functional Fitness and Meditation.

Administrative Service Volunteers - Time slots 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon and 12 noon - 4:00 p.m. Write promotional blurbs about upcoming special events to enhance the center's monthly calendar, plan upcoming fundraising events and assist with computer projects.

Food Service Volunteers

8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Help pack meals for students on remote learning program

10:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Serve lunch at one of the centers

12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Bus tables, assist with after lunch clean up

Volunteer Schedules - It is best to select a regular day or days for your volunteer service so that the programs can more effectively schedule work and necessary volunteer coverage.
